Getting to Paris:

This is a trip that is combined of 2 parts:
How to get to Paris airports - CDG, Orly or Beauvais: The best way to get to Paris is probably by a low cost ticket ordered through the internet.
You can find many opportunities for low-cost flights or even train, which can be a good alternative. How to get to Paris city from the airport:
Some may say that the cheapest way to get to Paris city is by the train, but there are some problems here:
You will probably have to carry your own luggage, walk a fair distance to your hotel and the time you will spend to actually complete this journey is ridicules!
A taxi service, will only be able to carry up to 3 passengers (Paris transportation rules) so taking your entire family in a taxi cab can be expensive.
What we offer is a fixed price, fast and reliable transportation to ANY destination - Paris city, Disneyland Paris (Eurodisney) and to/from airports.
Simply select your trip on the quick order form at your left, and you're done.

Mondial Shuttle offers the best Paris shuttle service, fair price and a reliable transportation you can count on!

Getting around Paris city:

The public transportation in Paris is great, and you will probably use the Metro. Easy to use and after a while it will become even fun, map in hand, from one area of the city to another. Just keep in mind which of the two directions of a line you want...
The Paris Metro operates between 05:30 and 00:30; spreads over 200 km to 16 lines with a total of about 400 stations (though figures are subject to change because the network is expanding to the suburbs).
The basic idea of the Metro is very simple: there is no point in Paris that is more than 500 meters from a Metro station!
In order to use the Metro, you must purchase a ticket. One ticket is valid until you exit the Metro, and will provide unlimited train changes until then. A ticket costs € 1.30 but you can buy a booklet of 10 tickets for €10.
It may be convenient to the Paris Visite card - Paris Visite is a travel card pass that allows you to use all the public transportation services - Metro, bus and RER. Surely this is the best way to get around Paris and its region! On top of that, the Visite card will grant you discounts at various tourist attractions around Paris city.

Where to stay in Paris:

Paris hotels are a little bit problematic, you may not get what you pay for... or expect to... Soon I will put a list here of some good reasonably priced hotels, which I recommend to use in your stay in Paris city. We can always recommend you on a place to stay, feel free to contact us
If you do decide to book a hotel through the internet, take into consideration that there are 20 arrondissements (districts), numbered 1 to 20 from the center outwards.
Like any other major city in the world, being close to the center costs usually means that you will have to pay more for the hotel room. If you want cheaper rooms - look for hotels that are not that close to the center of Paris.

Local cuisine:

I always say that in order to learn about a restaurant prior to dining it, the best way is to observe the faces of the visitors that leave the restaurant...
You can find a mixture of foods and restaurants all over the city, gourmet and cheap local fast food.
Quick guide: Parisian brasserie (brewery), the bistro (coffee with a choice of a few homemade dishes), the zinc (similar to the bistro but the stretch even more popular).

This is it for now, I will add more tips as soon as possible.
